All Grandfather's lies from the past have come to light, and they're tearing Peter apart.
Now Peter is in the most dangerous position possible - alone, outumbered, and without the support of his friends, family, or mentor.
He must fight for his life with only his skills and his wits to aid him...
But will that be enough?
Or will Evil finally triumph and destroy him once and for all?

Peter And The Bikers Story #31 Peter And The Monsters eBook Darren Pillsbury
The direct sequel to Peter and the Past, Peter and the Bikers picks up immediately after the end of the Past but before Peter can even begin processing, Darren tosses a metal fork into the microwave (so to speak) and all hell breaks loose. All of Grandfather's lies catch up to him in an instant (60 seconds to be precise) and nearly strangle him and the Flannagan clan to death! Everything that has gone unsaid between Grandfather and his daughter Melissa (all the bitterness, resentment and anger) comes out and it is not pretty (Grandfather at one point says what is arguably the worse thing a parent could ever say to their child). Of course, this is the perfect time for The Curse to rear its ugly head and it is more than happy to oblige with a trio of assassins that push everyone to their limit (and I do mean everyone)! This particular story moves really fast (you'll probably want to re-read it as soon as you finish just to catch everything) and overall I liked it a lot but I was a little disappointed that we didn't learn much about "The Bikers" themselves, that it's short for the amount of upheaval that occurs and we've been left with another cliffhanger (Melissa is basically catatonic at the end) to be resolved in Peter and the Mirror World when the ending to Peter and the Past hasn't really sunken in for the characters yet. Despite this, I gave it 4/5 stars because much like the mid-summer finale of a tv show, Peter and the Bikers has pitched up a maelstrom of new issues (a process that started with The Past) that will change the dynamics between all the major players. The wait for Peter and the Mirror World is going to be nigh unbearable!Product details

Peter And The Bikers Story #31 Peter And The Monsters eBook Darren Pillsbury Reviews
Although this is shorter than most, it was one of my favorites and had me sitting on the edge of my seat the entire time! I love this series and can't wait for the next!
The Peter books are one of my favorite series! I would have given this one 5 stars had it just been a little longer. However, it was only 2.99; so that makes up for it a little. I also found some typos in the editing (nothing major, just small things noticed). I would be happy to edit your next work!! Lol.
I admire you as a writer and independent publisher! Dill is still my favorite character! Good job! I will continue to buy every one!
Love this whole Peter and the Monsters series. I am a middle aged female, and truely enjoy these stories, and always buy the next volume as soon as it is out.
5 star idea, 5 star story, 5 star writing. The only reason for the 4 stars is because is simply wasn't long enough. I'm guessing he did his job, because now I'm craving the next one more than ever.
Oh my goodness. The character building in the book was tremendous. We saw a side of grandfather we had never "genuinely" seen before and The detail in Peters moms emotions were incredible! I honestly didn't know the book was over until it was over. I feel there could have been so much more to the book instead of just beginning, middle, and end, however the attention to detail was superb. Another great book. Thank you!
I am a huge fan of this series. These books are very entertaining and leaves me always wanting more. Peter and the bikers is a bit short but the writing is great. You move through this story really fast because you just can't put it down, you've got to find out what's next. I was wondering when Melissa was going to be let in on The Curse and this story moves there really well. The only thing that was missing is Gwen. Speaking of next, I am now so anxious to move on with the story and I hope it will be a longer story.
I love it. I am a huge fan of this series. Darren writes a totally enthralling story. As mention in other reviews it was a bit short. I felt I sucked it down very quickly. It's a really good story and the characters are flushed out so well. Darren I would love it if you could find it your heart and time schedule to produce a longer version of your stories. Maybe something that would take a 4 or 5 hours to read. I would wait for that. I know it takes time and effort. But pretty please. Your Fan Dawn ;-)
